OrthoLimited Titanium Elastic Nail

Introduction

Titanium Elastic Nail (TEN) is a type of orthopedic implant used for the fixation of long bone fractures in children. The TEN system consists of one or two titanium nails that are flexible and elastic, allowing for the preservation of the growth plate while providing stable fixation of the bone. The nails are inserted through small incisions in the skin and are then guided through the bone using specialized instruments.

Once in place, the nails provide support to the bone as it heals. The TEN system is designed to allow for early mobilization and a faster recovery time compared to traditional methods of fracture fixation.
