Grips the shaft firmly

The three claws cradle a diaphyseal fragment securely and the ratchet lock holds the reduction while I place the plate. No slipping even on a smooth cortical surface.

Solid provisional hold

Excellent for provisional reduction of long-bone fractures; the three-point grip resists rotation well. The jaw geometry seats around the bone without crushing.

Dr. Rowan Fitzgerald, MD, FACSMay 30, 2026

Robust and easy to clean

The ratchet is positive and the instrument feels substantial in the hand. Strips down for cleaning without any awkward crevices.
