Serviceable but tips need care

Does the job for shallow retraction, though the finer prongs can bend if levered too hard against bone. Fine for routine soft-tissue work.

Marcus Feldt, RN, CNORVerified buyerApr 6, 2026

Good soft-tissue exposure

The multiple prongs distribute tension evenly and give a clean field for approaching the extensor compartment without excessive skin trauma. The tips are sharp enough to hold but not so aggressive that they tear.

Dr. Owen Castellano, MD, FACSVerified buyerJul 10, 2024

Holds tissue without slippage

The hooks maintain a stable retraction throughout a longer approach and the handle balance means an assistant can hold it comfortably. Good weight and finish.
