About Non-locking Plate

Non-locking plates provide fracture fixation through conventional screws that compress the plate against the bone surface, generating stability by friction between plate and cortex. They remain a foundational option for many diaphyseal and periarticular fractures where good bone quality allows compression and anatomical reduction.

Typical configurations include compression plates, reconstruction plates, one-third tubular plates, and semi-tubular designs in a range of hole patterns and lengths. Common materials are surgical stainless steel and titanium alloy, contourable to bone geometry and manufactured under ISO 13485 with CE conformity.

Surgeons select non-locking plates by fracture location, required plate function such as compression or neutralization, screw diameter, and thickness, matching bone density and biomechanical demands.
